Check Out How CBS Covers Kamala vs. Trump Campaign
CBS “Evening News” anchor Norah O’Donnell brought a very different energy when talking about Kamala Harris compared to Donald Trump’s campaign stops.
O’Donnell on Harris:
Vice President Kamala Harris is targeting disaffected Republican voters by hitting the trail with Liz Cheney in the crucial “Blue Wall” states of Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin. Cheney was a powerful Republican Congresswoman and today she called Harris a “responsible adult.”
O’Donnell on Trump:
As for former president Donald Trump, he was back in North Carolina again, pushing false claims about FEMA and immigrants. That's after he spent the weekend slinging a crude insult at Harris, engaging in lewd locker room talk about the late golfing legend Arnold Palmer, and staging a campaign stunt at a Pennsylvania McDonald's.

A few thoughts here:
Sure, Trump’s got his issues. O’Donnell’s just being honest, right? I get that. But the argument falls apart when you realize Kamala’s got plenty of flaws too, and the difference in how they’re both covered is hard to miss.
CBS has really been raising eyebrows lately. From the Ta-Nehisi Coates interview turning into an internal fire, to “60-Minutes’” questionable decision to publish multiple versions of a Kamala Harris answer, to this now viral clip from Norah O’Donnell, they are really demonstrating why the mainstream media has such horrid trust ratings.
As political strategist Tim Cameron noted: “The only reason I suspect these incidents won't result in a major ratings decrease for CBS News is those ratings are already so abysmal they can't get much lower on national broadcast.”
