One Area Where Trump-Vance Ticket Is Dominating

The number: Per a Fox News analysis, Donald Trump and J.D. Vance have done a combined 38 interviews since their ticket was formed, compared to just one interview for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.

The context: Harris’ avoidance of interviews has been viewed an intentional strategy aimed at riding a wave of Democratic support and media buzz while allowing her to steer clear of policy stances that could alienate voters.

Bubba’s Two Cents

This highlights how Trump and Vance aren't fazed by mainstream media criticism. They can sit down with podcasters like Lex Fridman or Theo Von all day. And sure they’ll take hits from journalists, but the podcast audience isn’t tuning into the mainstream’s inevitably negative coverage for the most part. Contrast that approach with Kamala, who seems very gun-shy about interacting with the press. Some of this has to do with the differences in GOP and Democratic Party supporters’ media diets. But it’s probably not the best look for Harris.
